Refund Policy

Effective May 18, 2026

1. Summary

Common Ground charges a flat platform fee per case at the tier you select. Fees are disclosed before purchase and are processed by our payments provider. This policy explains when those fees are refundable and how to request a review.

2. Eligible for refund

  • Duplicate charge. If you were charged more than once for the same case, the duplicate will be refunded in full.
  • Technical failure on our side. If a platform outage prevented you from accessing your case for an extended period and no drafts or AI output were generated for you, you may request a full refund.
  • Cancellation within 24 hours of purchase, provided the case has not yet been opened to the other party and no AI drafts have been generated. Refunds in this window are issued at 100% minus payment-processor fees where unrecoverable.

3. Non-refundable

  • Cases where AI drafts, summaries, or term suggestions have been generated for you.
  • Cases where the other party has been invited or has acknowledged any step.
  • Cases that resulted in a signed agreement, regardless of outcome.
  • Charges older than 60 days, except where required by applicable law.

4. How to request a refund

Email notify@commongroundmediationpro.com with the email address on the account, the case ID (if known), the approximate charge date, and a short description of why you are requesting a refund. We respond within 5 business days and, when a refund is approved, return funds to the original payment method.

5. Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback — most disputes can be resolved faster directly. Initiating a chargeback for a charge covered by Section 3 may result in suspension of your account while the dispute is reviewed.

6. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights you have under applicable law in your jurisdiction.
