User Agreement

Effective May 18, 2026

1. Who this applies to

This User Agreement applies to anyone who creates an account, is invited to a case, signs an agreement, or otherwise participates in Common Ground (the “Service”). It supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. Account and identity

You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your credentials confidential, and to verify your email when prompted. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Do not share your account with others or sign on behalf of someone else without their authorization.

3. Good-faith participation

Mediation only works when participants engage honestly. You agree to describe the dispute truthfully, to consider the other party’s position in good faith, and to refrain from using the Service to mislead, threaten, or pressure another party.

4. Prohibited conduct

  • Harassment, threats, hate speech, or abusive language.
  • Impersonating another person or misrepresenting your authority to sign.
  • Uploading content you do not have the right to share.
  • Attempting to coerce a signature or bypass the acknowledgment steps.
  • Probing, scraping, or interfering with the Service’s security.
  • Using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Communications inside the Service

Messages, drafts, and proposals exchanged inside a case are intended to remain confidential between the participants, subject to legal obligations and to the audit trail attached to any signed agreement. Do not screenshot or republish another party’s confidential content without their consent.

6. AI suggestions are not advice

AI-generated reframes, summaries, and draft language are informational only. You remain solely responsible for what you say, propose, accept, and sign. Consult independent counsel at any point in the process, including before finalizing any agreement.

7. Fees and refunds

Common Ground Mediation Pro charges a case-opening fee to create a case, provide access to the platform, send case invitations, and make available the tools used for communication, document exchange, agreement drafting, and related mediation-support services.

Because the case-opening fee is used to begin the case setup and provide access to the platform, the fee is nonrefundable once a case has been opened, an invitation has been sent, or the user has accessed the case workspace.

Common Ground Mediation Pro does not guarantee that the other party will participate, that the parties will reach an agreement, or that any particular outcome will result from using the platform.

Refunds may be issued, in Common Ground Mediation Pro's discretion, for duplicate payments, billing errors, unauthorized charges, or situations where Common Ground Mediation Pro is unable to provide access to the purchased service.

Refund requests must be submitted to support@commongroundmediationpro.com with the user's name, case information, payment date, and reason for the request.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violation of this Agreement, for safety concerns, or to protect the integrity of the Service. You may close your account at any time; see our Data Deletion Request page for how to remove your data.

9. Changes

We may update this Agreement. Material changes will be notified through the Service. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
